Presumably, both of your posts are in the context of the Quality Score pointing out a discrepancy between the profile and the attached index entries.

The scoring algorithm is not saying that the profile is wrong. It's just saying that something doesn't match. In my experience, 99% of the time, this is because the index is wrong — and the remaining 1% is because an index entry inadvertently got attached to the wrong profile. In other words, I have never encountered a mismatch between index and profile that was caused by an error in the profile.

Some indexes are user-correctable on FS, many aren't. (And not all fields of correctable indexes can be successfully corrected.) So if you don't simply choose to ignore the whole scoring nonsense, that's the first thing to check: can you edit the index in question and fix the error?

Or actually, for the Alfred versus Barbara error of this thread, I would first check whether it's part of that 1%: did the source attachment get cross-threaded?

If everything is as correct(ed) as you can manage, and the index is simply wrong, you can say so in the reason box when you dismiss the scoring system's alert.

@Lane Brooksby can you provide a PID (person id #) where you are seeing this?

Here is a video showing how to correct an indexed record: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/how-do-i-correct-an-indexed-record
