How to locate Chapman's in England 1720's
Timothy Chapman LDYM-F92 was born in England about 1728. He married Mary about 1750 in New Jersey, British Colonial America. He apparently died about 1760. All of his information stems from DAR applications.
Not sure when he immigrated or what ship. Is there a particular location that the Chapman's originated in England? How would I narrow down the ships or immigration time period?

Looked on Ancestry and FindMyPast with little success. Ancestry shows a number of members with Timothy Chapman listed. One has his birth recorded as 17 MAR 1728 • New Jersey, Monmouth, New Jersey, United States. No sources are given. If you have access to Ancestry you could try contacting the members to see what they know. Many of the listings are linked to private trees.
