I am building profiles for Peder Christensen of Nes/ Neset/ Nedre Nes and Karen Jansdr. c. 1750-1780.

A public absolution. I think it is Mons Olsen Meeland (whose wife was just introduced!) doing penance for lejermaal with Peder Christensens wife. Please correct me. https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/16705/22

I have received a translation of the entry for Mons Olsen. He accidentally caused the death of Peder Christensens step-son Johannes Jacobsen and paid penance.
