Need help with Archiwum Panstwowe w Olsztynie on Szukaj w Archiwach
Hello, I need some help on Archiwum Panstwowe w Olsztynie on Szukaj w Archiwach.
Last summer/fall they made some changes and the following notice was posted on the website:
"The State Archives in Olsztyn kindly informs that the database of digitized archival materials has been transferred in its entirety to the internet portal search in archives.
Link to the website: [https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/](https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/) "
I previously saved many links to scans/records previously shown on this site and now none of my links work. Can someone help me navigate the new site so I can find the scans I previously saved?
Here is an example:
Marriage record for Johann Strupek and Regine Nagorka 27 Dec 1847
Groß Sdengowen, Tuchlinnen, Kreis Johannisburg, East Prussia, Prussia, Archiwum Państwowe w Olsztynie, Evangelische Kirche zu Eckersberg (Diözese Johannisburg) Marriages, Trauungen 1766 - 1848, page 194, item # 29 This link does not work any more https://olsztyn.ap.gov.pl/baza/skany.php?z=1349&s=2
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.

I tried to access your marriage record of Johann Strupek and Regina Nagorka, married 27th Dec. 1847, in familysearch.org catalog - and could find there only confirmations and death records.
I tried to access this record in szukajwarchiwach - and I could not find there this marriage. It is possible that during the weekend some of those records are being updated, and maybe trying to access them later will be OK. Please know that in Polish Community, the first item is Polish Research - Polish Resource Links - if you click on SzukajwArchiwach - you will get instructions in English from FamilySearch how to use SzukajwArchiwach.
You may also try Geneteka or Geneszukacz.genealodzy.pl and search there. Unfortunately, right now this marriage scan is not accessible. But give them some time and research other people. If you request just one year for Okartowo (according to Kartenmeister, equivalent of Eckersberg), or you may use meyersgaz.com click on map and then on Togle Historical Map to get Polish version of those parishes or communities. So if you request just one year from Geneteka listing the name of place and no surnames, you will get the entire list of records for that year in chronological order. You will get better after a while. You may be referred to szukajwarchiwach - Polish State Archives. In the future copy the birth, marriage or death record which you find, rather than just using the link, as you have already found out those links are not permanent. Try also familysearch.org - Search - scroll down to Images - enter Okartowo to see some records there. Check with Familysearch Center in your neighborhood, as in Salt Lake City we now have in the Library free access to Archion - Protestant German Record Archives in Berlin, check if it is available in your neighborhood FamilySearch Center, as they may also have it for free. Good luck with your research.
