    1837 [died] 20. Juny / [buried] 23. Juny

    Caspar Bär, Heinr(ichs Sohn) v(on) Ott(enbach)

    [aged] 69 J(ahre) 5 M(onate) 3 T(age)

BTW - I have recently spent some time to sort out some data on the "Schulmeister line" - see Heinrich Bär oo 1701 Elsbeth Sidler (this is NOT Caspar's line!!).

https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/WSeelentag Well, well, that is good to know. Let me see if I understand. the "Schulmeister line is not Caspar's line. Caspar's baptismal record says:

Parents: M(eister) Heinrich Bär, Schuhmacher zu Ottenbach / Catharina Bär

These people are a different Heinrich Bär than the one you have posted on the Forum. My relative, Caspar's father is a Schuhmacher or a shoemaker. Correct?

The problem is - too many Heinrich Bär around 😉.

I am not sure if this Caspar is your direct ancestor - but his father Heinrich was a shoemaker.

The note on the "Schulmeister line" was just to point out that I published some info on this line - yet another Heinrich, the teacher - in the forum … plus the warning that these two Heinrichs are not (closely) related: their common ancestor will be a few generations back. I just had the impression from a previous comment of yours, that you were interested in the teachers in Ottenbach.

https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/WSeelentag True. I am interested in teachers. In fact I love knowing the professions of all my ancestors when the Pastor is kind enough to note them. You are very thorough in your thinking and research. Thanks. KG
