It appears that a file can not be found on line. A great source for information on finding birth certificates for this time period is in two places. 1. You might need to set up an appointment with a FamilySearch center History Library. You can locate the closest to you by going to the locate FamilySearch History Center and requesting assistance with locating files that can only be access in the these Libraries. 2. I found the Chicago Genealogy Society has a lot of good information on how to obtain Birth Certificates from the City of Chicago.

    In a Nutshell

For 1871-1877, birth register pages are available on FamilySearch. For 1878-1922, birth certificates are available on FamilySearch but you must visit a family history center or an affiliate library to access them. (If you can't visit, try requesting indexed records through the Family History Library Record Lookup Service.) For 1923 forward, birth records may be available on FamilySearch. If not, order from the Cook County Clerk's office. Many births before 1916 went unreported. If you can't find a record created at the time of birth and the person lived into the 1940s, look for a delayed birth certificate.

Ancestry shows there is a birth certificate for Michele Angelo Raimonte, born 6 September 1912 in Chicago. His parents were Michele Angelo Raimonte and Maria Pusateri. Here's the link to the index if you have access to Ancestry. https://www.ancestry.com/search/collections/2545/records/1140638

Unfortunately, this is only an index. Here's the link to that same index on FamilySearch (although I couldn't find Michele Raimonte in it): https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/229686

You might be able to order the certificate from the Cook County Clerk's office for a fee. Here's the link to their website: https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/vital-records

The FamilySearch Library Lookup Service was discontinued. But even if it was still going, they would only be looking up the index, not the birth certificate.
