Shows "administrator help"
Set up group and added my children. Sent invite to my daughter. She replied and I accepted. After she signed it she gets: "We couldn't find you in the tree. This may be because no one has added you to the tree" Then a blue box stating " ADMINISTRATOR HELP"
What are we doing wrong?

You said you "added my children." I'm sure you meant at least that you added them to your Family Group. Do you also mean that you added them to your Family Group Tree (FGT)? Meaning they actually appear in the tree as your children? If not, you need to do that.
If you have done that, then each of them need to set their FGT starting person. Here's how that can be done;
Starting Person (in FGT)
: This is the all-important connection between your daughter'suser
(her account on FamilySearch) and theperson profile
for her in the FGT.Since she is already in the Family Group, she can set this as follows:
- Go to her Family Group by clicking on her name in the upper right corner, then choosing
Family Groups
. - Then click on the particular family group.
- This will show the dialog that says: "Need Help: We couldn't find you in the tree. This may be because no one has added you. Ask the administrator to help add you to the tree." Just close that dialog (click the X).
- On the right hand side of the screen is a section with title "Group and Tree Settings"; she needs to choose the
Starting Person
option in that section. - That will pop up a Starting Person dialog. Click
SELECT
. - She will then see a list of all the living females in your FGT. She can select the one that represents her.
- She will then be connected and can start using the FGT.
1 - Go to her Family Group by clicking on her name in the upper right corner, then choosing
-
Also check that the details in the record you create in the FGT match her details in her own tree. FS can sometimes fail to spot matches when there are slight differences.
