The FamilySearch app is a convenient way to add information and stay on top of things. For full access to all of the features you can start on the web page and sign up for a free account. No obligations at all. I recommend the following to answer getting started questions.

Can you give more information? Where have you checked? Have you not been able to find a marriage record? Dates and places would also be helpful. Assuming she is deceased, you can post her name and any information you do have.

hello, thank you for the information you forwarded , unfortunately,, I am unable to access ‘getting started with family search ‘ the videos just keeps telling me to sign in, when I am signed in.
I am very new to this, and have been having conversations with Kathleen, tried to copy you in but didn’t manage it, I’m convinced I’m going about communicating in the wrong way, if so I apologise0 -
I tried the web address I gave you again on several different browsers and I was able to get in, so I am not sure what I may have done wrong when posting it. I will post it again.
If you are just starting FamilySearch and haven't as yet started putting in information into your tree, gather all your information together that you may have already, mother/father, uncles, etc and start placing them onto your tree, the more you start with the easier it is to start searching for those details on your Mother-in-law's maiden name.
If you know what county or city she lived in that would also help. I would start searching on FamilySearch as described but you can also start looking for her obituary, there are numerous web sites, that for a fee, will search their notices.Another important place to go is the below link, lots of starting places and questions answered.
Don't forget there is always the free consultation on Zoom if you really get stuck.
To respond to someone directly and to the community do the following @thepersonsname that way they will be notified of your response.
If your husband's maternal grandmothers is deceased as I suspect send out her name as best you know it, approximate birth year and birth location and I or other members of the community will see what can be found to get you started.

Thankyou the video is working fine now. I’m sure it will be most helpful, and 8 assume that I need to download the family tree app to carry on.
