I am a resident of Lewistown, Montana, USA and have discovered that there are no Facebook genealogy groups dedicated to Central Montana. I would like to invite you to join the group, either to post queries or to help others on the search for their Montana roots! The roots may not run deep in Montana, they they do run long, going back to the east coast as well as the west coast!

If you are researching the counties of Blaine, Cascade, Chouteau, Fergus, Hill, Judith Basin, Liberty, Meagher (pronounced "Marr"), Petroleum, Pondera, Teton, Toole, and Wheatland, please come. Be a part of this new genealogy village on Facebook. Love it or hate it, it's the best place for community groups today!

All are welcome to post and research here, professional genealogists may work Pro Bono but they may not solicit business in this group. Thank you and good hunting!!

Sounds like this could be very useful for people researching in the area.

However, I hope you have posted information about this in other places in Community. I don't see it under the Ask A Question - General section and that would probably be the best place for it.

This group is just for questions about the Places database, requests to fix things in that database, and complaints about that database. It is not about "places" in the sense you are using it. It really is not very busy and few people ever come here. I'm pretty sure anyone you want to see your message will never see it here.
