Can't find townland of Cuignalecca
Researching an ancestor who had their place of residence listed as Cuignalecca in their marriage record on RootsIreland.ie.
However, I haven't been able to locate this townland on townloads.ie or anywhere else, which makes me think maybe it was transcribed wrong.

There are several townlands ending in "lecka" which seems more likely.
Since Kilmoremoy straddles the line of Mayo with Sligo, I looked at Sligo townlands, and I think Quignalecka is the place you want.

Excellent find.
What's odd is that John Grenham's site is reporting that townland as part of County Sligo, where townlands.ie and google maps is reporting it as part of County Mayo.
Looking at the microfilm, it does appear to end with lecca. But the start looks more like Qualecca or Tualecca. I can't find any Tua- townlands nearby, or any that end with lecca or lecka.
I also found this: https://www.logainm.ie/en/34148
Which has a historical reference of Cuignaleck, which is very close to the RootsIreland.ie transcription of Cuignalecca.
So, that is all to say, I can't find any other good theories, so I think Quignalecka is right.0
