I defer to @Cousin Vinny for this one, but this appears to be the heart of the text:

    URL:

    https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua18961722/wjaMRk3

    25-Aug-1877

Antonia Salvati wife of Camillo Iacono ?, peasant farmer, presented a female baby of the apparent age of one day, wrapped in a yellowish diaper and on its head a white cotton cap, and declared to me that the aforementioned child, last night at 11 p.m., was left at the entrance door of her home.

The baby was given the name Lavinia and the surname Salamiti

The margin note refers to Lavinia's marriage in 1899, located here:

    https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua18954774/0Jrj4EB

Marriage of Franco Tocco and Lavinia Salamiti, 14-Aug-1899 within which her parents are declared to be unknown.

Thank you for your help. Lavinia was my great grandmother. Those people really suffered. We are so blessed.

The date on the record is 12 Nov 1877 (@SantaNinfa you read the date when the official was appointed) and the husband of the woman making the declaration is Camillo di Zacomo. Other than that I agree.

@Cousin Vinny Many thanks - yes, I swapped the dates by mistake.
