For those of you who are unaware, Ancestry now provides access to the 1921 census for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. This is available as part of a normal subscription unlike FindMyPast at present.

As I have commented elsewhere, for those without a subscription but just registered to the two websites, it is probably better to use Ancestry to locate your relatives and others in the 1921 census. Clicking on a "drop-down" reveals all other household members, whereas - typically - the FMP index page will show (for a William Brown) something like: "William, Jane, George and 3 others are shown in this record". Viewing the original documents often reveals that they do not even necessarily have the same surname (Brown) as the William (Brown) who was the subject of your search. So, without currently having a sub to either website, Graham's advice on availability through Ancestry should be of great help.
