Copy living person by ID
It would be faster for me to copy living people to the family group using their ID rather than manually finding them in the tree. Especially for families with former spouses, whose kids all keep in touch.

You can copy profiles from your own FamilySearch Tree using the ID. However, you cannot copy individual profiles using their own ID. To use the ID that you have for them, click on the + on the tree:
If the relationship you want to add is not listed, go to the Person Page and add it there.
In either case when the Add Child/Spouse/Sibling/Parent box opens, choose By ID Number:
And you will be provided with a box to type or paste the ID number in:
