Yes, they are twins. The words after their names say "Twin son" and Twin daughter."
The entry for the father says "supposedly in America at the time, and his wife Martha Elisabeth nee Gerlach."
For the godparents, it says "Nicolaus Stoeker, grandfather of the child" and "Anna Elisabeth Stoeker, the father's sister."

Oh wow. and the column across from Anna Elisabeth (parents does not say the daughter died? correct? I am asking because a ship record was found with father only in that year and then in 1853 I only found the mother immigrated but with no ship record. Ohio family does not have this child listed. I am searching births of all the children born before 1852 in Asmushausen , Germany and wondering if I should look for a death for this daughter.

There's no indication on this record that the daughter died. There's also no notation that this was an emergency baptism, which would indicate that the child was sickly at the time of birth. However, twins often didn't survive in earlier timeframes, so I would look at death records for the daughter starting in 1853.

I did not find a death record. Possible might have died on immigrating but have to find a ship record to confirm. Thanks for getting back to me.
