HC Andersen birth and baptism record
I recently tracked down the baptism record for Hans Christian Andersen. I read he had some connection to the Broholm estate (Broholm Gods), indicated in his writings. My 4th great-grandmother also did around the same time period. Hers was a connection to the Kjaer family. It would be great to get a full English translation of this original source record.

Can't figure out this last word, but at least you can get the meaning. I've asked some other researchers about the missing word, so I'll post again if I figure it out.

Thanks for the detailed interpretation and explanation Forrest. I find it surprising that the original document would have been amended after the fact, and so many times.
The reason why I made this request, in researching my family ties to Broholm, was that I came across this item indicating his connection. It is rather controversial and Jens Jorgensen's claim of his lineage to Christian VIII makes no sense given that there is no similarity in appearance between the two, plus his birth record would have to have been falsified by the church.
