I keep coming across this last name and I don't know what it can be.

Here it is again 3 times in the same baptismal record.

I think this record says:

Baptism: 4 October [1693]

Baptized: Johann Jacob Brÿ....

Son of: Johann Brÿ....

Godparents: Johann Jacob Deppe & Anna Brÿ....

    I think it's Brÿ***haus or Brÿ***hausen

    I couldn't stop thinking about it and I think that last part is maybe haus/hausen. Can't wait to see if someone has a clue! 😀

    One more crack at it….

    could this be close to "Beuershausen"? (maybe an alternative spelling of this name?)

    I read the name as Beyershausen.

    (The "y" has two dots above it, but this is only a convention for the handwritten letter, similar to the "u-Bogen" above a handwritten "u". It does not mark a different letter or sound).
