It is nice of the Pastor to add the first names of the witnesses parents and the parents of Caspar. Can we assume Caspar's grandfather is Claus Sidler b 1641.

Caspar's grandfather will be a Claus - unlikely the one born 1641: only 22 years between grandfather and grandson ???
Rudolf Sidler "Klausen Sohn" marries Ottenbach 02.02.1658 Anna Grob - so likely born before 1638: you could check early Bevölkerungsverzeichnisse for a family Claus Sidler & Anna Grob with a son Rudolf.

I have been told there is some (automatic?) checking of attached images - and the problem occurs if you try to edit a contribution before this checking has been finished … one seems to have to be patient: I now see the attachment (second attempt).
Remember my numbering system? The numbers in red show what we already have - Rudolf is already listed as son of Niklaus - details (as 164-2-3) would be a new post.
