Help Viewing Grandfather's Passport Application Image from Columbia
So I found my grandfather's passport application from 1945 when he was going to live/was living in Columbia South America, but for some reason, it says I can't view the image.
Do you have a recommendation on how I can view it? I've been searching but can't find it anywhere else, and I don't speak Spanish, so it makes things more confusing 🫤
This is the record:

The URL has been corrupted by the Community platform. That can happen if you hit enter/return at the end of the URL. The corrected URL is https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6T59-QVVY

DGS 102471797 contains visa applications rather than passport applications. And, the image for your grandfather's application is locked, possibly because of the date/age. It's hard to know without being able to see it. Many others within the set are viewable:Full description of the record set (bolding mine):
Miscellaneous migration records created by various entities of the Colombian government and found today in the Archivo General de la Nación in Bogotá, Colombia. These records include naturalization requests, visa and passport application files, and files on foreigners residing in Colombia. Additional images will be published as they become available.1 -
Thanks for looking. Do you have advice on what I can do to access his visa application since it’s locked?

There are some unindexed records that can be viewed only at a FamilySearch Center or Affiliate Library. I can't tell if that record set contains your grandfather's record. I can take a look the next time I visit my AL. I go every week.

I didn't find any additional information for your grandfather yet. But, I wondered if you had noticed that part of his record is visible.
His record starts on Image 1113, as noted on the index page.If you access the relevant DGS [102471797] either from the catalog or the image viewer, you can flip digital pages as in a book. And, the next image, 1114, is the back of his record and contains his address, names and religion of his parents, his signature, and other details.

A further note - the description of the greater collection suggests that the project is new and a work in progress. https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2813053

That first page of your grandfather's visa application may be viewable in a future processing batch.

Thank you! I didn’t realize the back page is viewable.
I’m hopeful they’ll post the rest of the content soon so I can read the first page.
