How look up Rev. War Warrant #2624 - 1000 acres for William Templeton 84 months killed.

William Templeton was a drummer. He served for 84 months before being killed. His heirs received warrant #2624 for 1000 acres and sold it to John Donaldson. Found this information in a book. However, I do not know how this William Templeton is related. If I can locate the actual names of the heirs on the warrant I might be able to identify this William Templeton. Thanks for any expert help in looking up Revolutionary War Warrant # 2624.

@Rex Cordell Templeton The record you need is a Bounty Land Warrant Application. Try this collection on FamilySearch first: United States Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Applications 1800-1900. Go to this Wiki Article for other resources or information on how to order a copy from the National Archives.
I would also suggest exploring Full Text Search for land and probate records. When John Donaldson or his heirs sold the property there might have been a reference to the original purchase in the legal land description. Remember that the warrant would have been for land in a military district, likely in Ohio. When John obtained a patent it would have listed the name on the warrant, but probably not the name of the heir who sold it. You can check that out in General Land Office records. Also, if William was a man of means there may be records on the disposal of his property to heirs.

However, the warrant sold to John Donaldson is for Thomas Templeton, drummer. This appears to be an error by the clerk because a later court record dated 13 Aug 1797 related to this land correctly gives the name of William Templeton. I got this information from a book by a genealogist. However, I need warrant #2624 and ideally the court record dated 13 Aug. 1797. I do not have the skills to locate these. The help I need is for an expert in this field to help with the location of warrant #2624. Thanks to any experts that might be able to help locate this information.

@Rex Cordell Templeton You might be out of luck on that because most of the early warrants were destroyed in the fires of 1800. The only copy would have been in the hands of one of the heirs.

After much research, I have located Warrant #2624. However, I still need help. This warrant is located on Ancestry. A membership to Ancestry is required. I do not have a membership. Would someone with Ancestry be willing to look up this Warrant # 2624?
I located it by typing in - North Carolina and Tennessee, U.S., Revolutionary War Land Warrants, 1783-1843. All that needs to be typed in is the Warrant #. Do not type in the name.The name on the Warrant is William Templeston. The spelling on the warrant is incorrect. In reality, it is really William Templeton. This also might be available through Familysearch. I scanned the website page (see below). Thanks to anyone that has Ancestry and might be able to scan this Warrant #2624 and forward it to me.
