Difficulties copying tree to existing family group

I came across two quality of life issues when copying living people from my private tree to a family group tree:
- second partner of my parents do not show up when clicking 'spouses and children' (they do show for e.g. my uncles), making it very difficult to add living step-parents and half-siblings
- I have no way to link existing family group members with their existing profiles in the tree, I can only send them a new invite.
Any suggestions are welcome!

@Gijs21 Thank you for your feedback on the copy process!
- Regarding second spouses of your parents. Have you made sure that you have already entered their information in your FamilySearch Tree (the one you have been working in before starting the Family Group Tree). If you haven't added them to your FamilySearch Tree, then they will not show up in the Copy function. If you have added them, could you upload a screenshot of the place where they should show up (ie the Spouses and Children tool opened) and include what operating system and browser you are using. This information will help us to troubleshoot the problem.
- That is correct, you will not link group members to their profiles in the Family Group Tree. Each group member will need to link themselves to their own profile. The system should send a message out to all the members of the group that the tree capability has been added to that family group and then the next time the member goes to the group, the system should automatically open the Starting Person tool and help them find their own profile in the Family Group Tree. That does mean that you need enter at least a name for each of the family members that are in the Family Group.
