Should We Upload Living People?
I am concerned about uploading living people to my CET tree.
You say on your CET-Feedback-Early-Access page that "All users can see deceased persons". How about living people? Are they completely hidden from other users, or do they show up but with some information privatized? If so, what information is shown?
Would it be better if I created a GEDCOM with only deceased people and upload that?

I decided to only upload deceased people.
This decision was based upon the need to agree to the FamilySearch Content Submission Agreement, Terms of Use and Privacy Notice, as well as the need to confirm that I have the right and/or permission to share any personal information that I contribute to a CET.
I do not have permission from most of my living relatives to contribute data about them.0 -
Louis,
The living in a CET function very similar to how they work in the shared private Family Groups in Family Tree. Living tree persons are protected and kept completely invisible to all users on the system, except for those users who are in the tree (owners, co-owners & members). No one other than these users will ever see any living tree person in any tree view, search results or tree2tree match. All users who ARE authorized in the tree can see and edit all living tree people.0
