Family group trees and public tree
I hope this is the correct place to post this question. I have created two family group trees. It was my understanding that these trees would just be accessible in the individual family group trees. This morning when I accessed one of my family group trees I had a message in the drop down window indicating the the group tree had connected to my public tree. Now all of the living people in my group tree appear in my public tree also. What would cause this and how can I disconnect the family trees from my public tree? I am on a windows computer and am using the chrome browser.
Thank You,
Richard Hall

@Richard L Hall I am not quite sure what you are talking about here. Are you talking about this message in the tree drop-down?
This is referring to the private people you have added in the FamilySearch Tree (no one can see these except you). If you choose this selection (click on the words 'FamilySearch Tree') it will show you the tree that you have been working in up until you created your Family Group Trees.
When it says 'your private tree' it is talking about yourself and any living relatives that you have added to the FamilySearch Tree. You can see all the living individuals that you have added to your tree by clicking on Private People (in the middle of the menu).
Below that you will see your Family Group Trees listed:
So this tree drop-down box is how you switch between your FamilySearch Tree (the original place that you have been working up until you created your Family Group Trees) and the Family Group Trees.
