The first entry, top of the page on the left, for the birth of Iver Nielsen in 1806.

Is his mother Anne Christophersdatter? Place Knajen? or Krylien? This is in Hurdal, Akershus.

Are they married? Thank you! Sponsors?

This link goes to the birth record: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/7667/131

The mother's name is not mentioned in the birth record. Anne Christophersdatter is a witness, as are all of the people named after her. Her place of residence is Knai (current spelling) or Knaih. Older spellings are Knaynn, Knaiie, Knaie, Knaij, Knayen and Knaien. It looks like all the other witnesses reside at the same farm (Knai).

Written immediately after the father's name may be the name of the farm where the family is living. It looks like Gaard___. Possibly Gaarder (see the FamilySearch Wiki page for Hurdal here: https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Hurdal_Parish%2C_Akershus%2C_Norway_Genealogy

Also, see Oluf Rygh's farm names here for more information on the farms Knai and Gaarder: https://www.dokpro.uio.no/cgi-bin/navnegransking/rygh_ng/rygh_visetekst.prl?s=e&Vise=Show&KRYSS33394%407544=on&KRYSS33354%407534=on

Thank you. That darn minister not even listing the mother's name! I guess she wasn't involved in the birth. ha.

    Thank you again!
