Ancestors indicator in tree view
Hi,
Not sure if this has been requested, but I think it would be useful (and avoid a lot of unnecessary clicking when navigating a tree) if the "^" icon at the top of an individual in the tree view would somehow indicate if there are ancestors or not (i.e. empty).
For example the icon colour could indicate if there are ancestors of that individual in the tree.
For descendants this is not a problem because the "v" icon disappears if there are none. Hope it is clear what I mean.
Thank you.

I understand what you mean. The reason for the ^ icon above an ancestor that has no ancestors above is to allow the parent(s) to be added from the Portrait View as displayed below.
The update on the Portrait View was completed at the end of September. However, you could use the Feedback button on the far left of the page to ask that your request be considered. If you choose that option, choose the "Specific feedback" box and then click on the ^ to suggest the color change. You might not receive a reply directly, but you might see the change you requested in the future.

@LTG50
Thank you. I tried using the Feedback tab, but under firefox I get:
"An error has prevented the requested action. Please visit
the FamilySearch Community for help or to report an issue""Cancel Continue"
Clicking on Continue takes me to the "Tree Pedigree Views" page and so I raised the suggestion here.
I will investigate further, maybe a different browser does not trigger the error.
Regards.
