Mrs. Caroline Frederich, widow of the late Johann Frederich, passed away last Saturday morning at 10 am in the home of her son Arthur Frederich in the town of Lebanon at the age of 82. She was born in Döhring, Pomerania, Germany, and came to America 46 years ago with her husband and one child and settled in the town of Lebanon. She was the mother of 11 children, three of whom died. Her husband preceded her in death in 1912. The surviving children are: Carl Frederich in Oak Grove, Franz Frederich in Clintonville, Wilhelm Frederich in Embarass, Emil Frederich in Lebanon, Reinhard Frederich in Clintonville, Arthur, Heinrich, and Ernst Frederich in Lebanon. She also leaves behind 33 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The funeral took place last Wednesday at 1 pm from the home instead of St. Paul's Church by Pastor Lange. The burial took place at the Lebanon Cemetery.

I was puzzled by the place called "Embarass" where one of the decedent's sons was from in the obituary.
It turns out the place is spelled with a double "r": Embarrass.
