Merge By ID
Please add the ability to merge by ID a person from my "private" tree to the shared tree.

At this time this cannot be done because it is not allowed to have the same living ID in two separate private spaces. For example, if you have John, who is alive, in your personal private space, in a group tree private space with your mother's cousins and a group tree private space with your father's cousins, he is required to have a separate, independent profile page with a different ID in each of those three spaces. Private spaces cannot be combined.

Because of privacy restrictions, shared profiles and private profiles have to stay separate. However, there is a way to copy private profiles into a shared tree.
When viewing the shared tree, click on "Tree Details", then click "+ Copy from FamilySearch Tree". From there, you can select profiles to copy into your shared tree. If that person already exists in the shared tree, it will give you the option to add their info to the existing shared profile rather than creating a new one.
