MURRÉ Marianne- Birth Reg pg2- 1799.jpg

I need help reading/translating this Birth Registre entry for Marianne Mure. I believe she was born on 31 Oct 1798 in Berrwiller, Soultz, Haut-Rhin, France. Her father was Joseph Mure and her mother was Brigide Seiller. The handwriting on this document is a particular challenge.

Matthieu, thank you for your response. I was quite sure that this was badly written French as it is entered into the French civil register. All other documents that I have seen from that time are written in French. However based on your response I looked more closely at the documents (and the original register) and I see umlauts and other indications that this is, in fact, written in German or perhaps the Alsatian German dialect. In other words, you are quite correct.

I have posted my request for translation on the Family Search German Community message board and will hope for a response. Thanks, again.
