Can you help find a missing family member?
Sabino Hernandez (GFGF-LSV) and Micaela Robles (GFGF-JGJ) had four children. Jose Anastacio Hernandez (GBCK-7KP), born 1883, the oldest died at age 6. Jose de Los Angeles Hernandez (GYL5-9ZN) Born 1885. Maria Narcisa Rafaela de Jesus Hernandez (GB41-G8R) born 1886. The fourth child Vicente Hernandez (GFGF-YYM), based on his marriage to Maria Martinez (GFGF-KB9) in 1913 was 21 at the time of his wedding in Aguascalientes. The record stated that he is originally from Texcoco. The oldest sibling died in Jilotepec, State of Mexico in 1889. The other two siblings have baptism or birth records from various parishes in or near Texcoco. For Maria Narcisa, birth and christening events list:
Event Place | San Antonio de Padua, Tultepec, Estado de México, México |
---|---|
Event Place (Original) | San Antonio de Padua, Texcoco de Mora, México, Mexico |
For Jose de Los Angeles, the birth and christening records list the same location:
Event Place | San Antonio de Padua, Tultepec, Estado de México, México |
---|---|
Event Place (Original) | San Antonio de Padua, Texcoco de Mora, México, Mexico |
Source Details | yr 1881-1886 p 41 |
For Vicente, the fourth and actually the person I am interested, has no birth or christening events. Both of the above also list Atenco as the city where they lived, I believe, so the churches might have been at some distance. It would make sense that all three wouls have been baptized at the same location. From the wedding announcement if he was 21 at the wedding then the birth date would have been around 1892. The church records for the above parishes are missing the books from 1887 to 1899. I'm betting Vicente is listed in there, but that work is unavailable. Do you have those records on microfiche by any chance? This individual is the father of Adolfo Hernandez Martinez (G5PF-632) who is the father that I am writing a book about. It's important for the geneology to confirm his birth and birthplace as well as the the date of birth. I have dates for everyone else. This Vicente Hernandez disappears (death, accident, immigration?) and leaves the mother and child. Along came another Vicente, Vicente Almaraz, that "adopted" him, gave him his Family name and changed his name from Adolfo to Rodolfo. Rodolfo immigrates to the US and has a son, who is the subject of a book I am writing, so the family tree is important but complicated. Another hint in the wedding announcement was the fact that Vicente Hernandez was listed as "Jacinto" I'm assuming a nickname, because he signs his name as Vicente Hernandez.
I did find an entry for a Jose Vicente Dionicio, son of Savino Hernandez from 1888
San Salvador Atenco Bautismos 1877-1884, 1887-1889
But the entry immediately after this has the same name but with a different parent, so it looks like it was mis-copied.

I've been at this about a month so I'm wondering if he might be listed in the missing parish records from Texcoco (missing 1887 to 1899) like his other two siblings. Thanks for any help you can provide, and sorry fr the lengthy tome. Let me know if you need any additinal information. Thanks, (name removed)

All microfilm has been digitized, but not all digital images are online or available to view from home. https://www.familysearch.org/en/blog/familysearch-microfilm-collection-digitized

I'm not sure what I did wrong with the username, or having something that identifies me in the username. Is just the number OK, or you don't want the number, just the first name? I don't recall typing in the username, I think it was generated when I sent the message, but I'll change anything that is required. Oh' I see now, don't put my name at the end of the message, like I did. Got it.
