looking for Mormon Church Records for Talmage Edward Dawson (1894-1974)
Looking for Mormon Church Records for Talmage Edward Dawson (1894-1974) of Topeka, Kansas. He also lived in Salina & Concordia and Cloud County, Kansas. Family lore has it that he had an upbringing as a Mormon. His 1st Marriage was in the Baptist Parsonage in Minneapolis, Kansas (near Salina) in 1917. That may reflect a slant or his 1st Wife's religious leanings.
Regards,
Brian

Wow, you've got a lot of info on this guy…https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L2SM-9F8
From what I can see, he was not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but his sister Cora (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KW6M-F4X) joined in 1954.
Cora's 2nd husband was a member of the church and it looks like he and Cora raised her children in the church.

Hello,
Do you know or can you determine if Charles Mann Dawson (1889-1962), Talmage & Cora's Brother, was a Mormon? He came to Salt Lake to become a prodigal child Musician. There might be some evidence here of his musical training, performances, more than just in the newspaper. Surely there must have also been a religious component as well. Such a component would have left records.

Looks like Charles was not LDS (https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GLVL-CVQ). You might want to reach out to the other contributors to his record. They might have more specific information that they haven't shared online.
