Resources on Typical Alsatian dress in the 1800s and early 1900s
Can any recommend any books, websites or other resources on typical dress for the Alsatian region in the mid 1800s and later? I took a workshop on Rootstech a couple years ago that was informative. My great grandmother was from Reichshoffen, France in the Alsace region and was born in 1852. I would imagine she might have worn the black or red large bow like headdress.
Any help would be appreciated.
