Jakob Kleiner is NOT Katharina Sidler's husband - Billeter is wrong!

    See https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=34050#p128139.

https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/WSeelentag I just read through all the post on the Forum, copied it in order, posted it on Katharina's page. Let me double check your thinking:

    1. Could the 1678 Bevölkerungsverzeichnis for Heinrich Huber, and Catharina Sidler in Urdorf be our Catharina?

    2. Wolf: I had suggested that Cathrin (born 1631 to Jakob and Vronegg Urmi) might have died between 1647 and 1649.

If she died between 16 and 18 years old then she never married or had children. Right?

    • 1) I am pretty sure that the family in Urdorf is "your" Catharina - but when was she born and who are her parents?
    • 2) I had to revise my comment about the one born 1631 having died before 1649 - see previous thread: I had overseen her being mentioned in 1749.
    • 3) But … we have another candidate born 1634 - see https://www.geneal-forum.com/phpbb/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=34125#p128158. Finding her death entry could solve the problem - but we suspect that death entries during that period are imcomplete.

https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/WSeelentag Is the Catharina Sidler (born in 1634) born in Ottenbach? I don't think I have complete understanding of your thinking. Yes, a good death entry would certainly firm up this. Apparently you don't agree with 1692 Catharina Sidler burial 15 Jan Urdorf-Dietikon page 254. Regards, KG

I agree with the death entry 1692 - but as it doesn't give an age it doesn't help to determine the date of birth. Only a previus death entry of either of the two "candidates" would make sure.

https://community.familysearch.org/en/profile/WSeelentag Thanks, I think I get it now. Just one BV with an age or one death record that defines who we are talking about would be helpful.
