Help finding Norwegian birth records...
I've got 3 siblings that I can't find Norwegian birth records fpr. I've searched both FS Norway Birth Records and Digitalarkivet.no.
These are the first 3 children born to Berte Severinsdatter KJZL-49Q and Halvor Sveinungsen GTM9-MFY. They were married 30 September 1894 Solum Kirkegård, Solum, Bratsberg, Norway. These 3 children are found on the 1900 Norway Census living in Solum, Bratsberg, Norway and are on a New York Passenger list, arriving at Ellis Island with their mother 6 May 1903 (these are both in Sources).
The children in question are: Sverre GDXC-B18, Sigurd GBMN-L1H and Sissel M6PG-G1S.
Their 4th child Milla GBMJ-C46 is born (1902) and dies (1903) in Romedal, Stang, Hedmark, Norway. The scanned record is clearly labeled as a 4th child.
The Petition for Naturalization for Sverre list birth place as Skottefors, Norway, which is a village in Skien. The Petition for Naturalization for Sissel lists Skien, Norway as her birth place,.
So I've searched Digitalarkivet.no in Skien, Solum and Romedal for their birth records with no luck. I've tried using the DA Detailed person search, looking for various spellings of the their names and their parents' names with no luck. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance!

I don't believe you find any christening/baptism records for those three children. The 1900 census lists the family living in Solum, Telemark, Norway, but, following each child's name, it says the 3 children you are asking about are all "udøbt = unbaptised". I think that they should have been reported in the "born of dissenters" part of the birth/christening book, but I have not been able to find them there.
Column 11 of the census instructs the census take to write the letter "T" if the person in the census was born in the same "herred = judicial district (parish?)" where the census is taking place, ie. in Solum for this census. According to the census, all three children were born in Solum but were not baptised.
Column 13 of the census lists the "trossamfund = religious community/society" and for all three children it reports "uden samfund = without [religious] community/society".
You can see the original census here: https://media.digitalarkivet.no/view/37167/2391.

Thank you! I haven't run into this before. I was pulling my hair out trying to find baptism records, but there are none! You are a wealth of knowledge, thanks for sharing!
