Which Tree view in FamilySearch is your preferred view?
I think each view can serve a slightly different purpose. I like the Fan Chart view the most, especially when it is set to π©π° π©πͺ "Birth Country"πΊπΈ π¬π§ and seeing my homelands. But I also think the Descendancy view is pretty amazing as well. It is fun to see all the new branches that have π±sproutedπΏ from an ancestor.

The Descendancy View is also very helpful if you're trying to find temple work that needs to be done. Because I have so many pioneer ancestors, I had a hard time at first finding work that needed to be done. I was able to find several collateral ancestors who needed work done by using the Descendancy View.

Great perspective! I'll check my boxes the next time I'm in so I can see what work needs to be done from that view. Thank you @lorene walker1β π

One of my favorite views is the Descendants with tasks view in the Family Tree app! Especially to help focus on those with record hints or temple tasks

@Jessie HearleβΒ I don't think I've ever learned how to have a different view other than pedigree on my mobile app. Can you explain how? Or is it still only available on a laptop or pc?

You're welcome. Good luck!

Descendants with tasks is accessed in the Family Tree Mobile app.
From the details page of a person, click the 3 dots upper right corner.
The list can show 3-5 generations, include record hints, Temple tasks, or both, and be filtered by name.

Thank you for posting that information. I was going to answer it, but you did it first and with more information.
