Two questions please?
1 - 4 relatives died of nervfiber in Hasslösa in Oct-Dec 1838. I found a definition of typhoid - could it be something else?

2 - having trouble figuring out terms in a record.

One - My second great grandmother lost her dad and 3 sisters in Hasslösa in Oct-Dec 1838. All show cause of death as nervfiber. I found that defined as typhoid - but is there another definition for it?

Two - ArkivDigital: Hangelösa (R) AI:2 (1791-1800) Image: 42 Page: 75 - Birth record shows Annica as daughter of Peter Carlsson and Gunnila in 1797. I'm having trouble figuring out what's written as Gunnila's surname. What is "in loco"? And what's in front of Catrina's name - the Dr and Pig I understand, but that's a new one for me.

Birth record Annica Pettersdotter birth 5 Nov 1797 Skeby

I appreciate any help! Thank you.

    1. Nervfiber/nervfeber is a nervous fever: serious fever disease which caused nervous symptoms like typhoid (typhus ahdominalis) and spotted fever (typhus exanthematicus)
    2. Gunilla Andersdotter; in loco means this place and in front of Catrina reads syst which means sister (of Peter Carlsson
