Andrei Mayboroda
Hello, I am looking for the birth certificate for Андрей Майборода ( Andrei Mayboroda) born November 30th 1898 in Kiev Ukraine. I search the Ukrainian records of the orthodox church but could not find him. He was a сотник/centurion (commander of 100 men) in the white army against the soviets in 1918. After moved to France and died in 1947. I am looking also information on his parents Vasili and Vasilia, Deredianko or Deocianka.

Hello,
unfortunately you would need to look through records manually as majority of them are not indexed and without knowing at least approximately which church did they go to and if it really was in Kiev it's a huge task even for those who can read Russian.
For the names you are giving Derevianko (Деревянко) should be the correct spelling, I would assume it's his mothers maiden name and his father should also be Mayboroda.
There was also someone with this name mentioned in various resources on 1918 civil war, but they seem to come from south Russia rather than Kiev
