Thank you for having me in the group. I live in Argentina and my family tree is quite advanced on my mother's side (France/Italy). On my father's side, Polish Jew (Poland-Austria-Ukraine), it is more complicated for me, partly because of the language barrier. I was wondering if it is possible to find support here (I speak spanish and understand quite well french and English).
My great-grandmother, Pessa Gotlibowski (born Silberberg), died in Argentina in 1923. While she emigrated here from Poland with two of her daughters, a son (my grandfather, Binem/Benjamin Gotlibowski) emigrated to Altenburg-Germany where he married a Polish woman, from the part of Galicia that is now Ukraine. In Altenburg they had three children (including my father) and finally they emigrated to Argentina in 1936.
