Wandsbek, on the 19th of May 1906.Before the undersigned civil registrar appeared today, personally known, the worker Hans Johann Heinrich Ahlers, residing in Wandsbek, Volksdorferstrasse 64, and indicated that the maid Maria Bertha Ahlers, 17 years old, Evangelical religion, residing in Wandsbek, Volksdorferstrasse 64, born at Wandsbek-Hinschenfelde, unmarried status, daughter of the informant and his wife Anna Maria Elisabeth, née Benthien, died at Wandsbek in the residence of the informant on the 19th of May of the year 1906 at 1:00 am.

My comment: There is no cause of death recorded in this death certificate, which is typical for these early civil death records.
