I want to start out saying I'm not an expert in translation by any means. I use Google translate and just do my best reading the older script. Here's my best effort on this one:
This is a marriage record between Francois Xavier Rigil and Marie Madelaine Gasser.
The record states that Francois' father was Joseph Rigel, who was deceased at the time of the marriage. Francois' mother was Marie Anne [????]. I'm reading Ernst, but that doesn't sound very French. Here's what her name looks like on the record:
Ancestry says the surname Ernst is found in the Alsace and Lorraine regions of France. His mother was also deceased at the time of the marriage.
Francois Xavier Rigil's paternal grandfather was Joseph Rigel and his paternal grandmother was Marie Anne Gurrand.
His maternal grandfather was Antoine [maybe Ernst, it looks exactly the same as Francois' mother's name] and his maternal grandmother was Marie Agathe [????]. Her last name looks like Dectler to me.
