Barbel Sigeristin, Claus Sÿdlers frouw ist den 14.ten Junij [1624] zu zweÿen Kinden gnäsen, denn das erst läbendig, das ander [tod(?)], und (Tuesday) darnach am mittag gestorben.

Barbara Sigrist, Claus Sidler's wife, gave birth to two children on 14.06.1624, one alive, the other stillborn (not sure about "tod" - but nothing else makes sense). The mother died noon the following Tuesday. 14.06.1624 was a Friday, so the mother died 18.06.1624.

14.06.1624 was a Friday, so the mother died 18.06.1624.

I have to correct this :-(. I had used the Gregorian Calendar - however, at the time the Julian Calendar was used in reformed parishes. Consequently 14.06.1624 was a Monday - and the mother died Tuesday 15.06.1624 - same day as Margret was baptised.
