My grandma has some original, handwritten Danish documents from an ancestor from the 1800's that she is hoping to find someone to translate. Is there someone who would be able and willing to translate from Danish to English?

This is the perfect place to get help with Danish translations. There are several users here who are VERY good at it. You will need to use the image upload workaround to get images added to this discussion. Follow the instructions HERE to get your images added. Sam 😀

Some background information on these images - We think that they are from my great-something grandparents, Ole and Johanna Larsdatter Larsen. They lived between 1827 and about 1900. They were from Denmark but emigrated to Newton, Utah in the 1880's. Ole also went by Ole Olsen at a few points. Their children were Karen Olive (went by Olive), Anna Elizabeth (went by Libby), Amanda, Magna, and John. They all settled in the Newton and Clarkston, UT area.

    Everything is about

    Ole Larsen 2 May 1827 – 1 March 1910 - KWJX-W5F

and notes about his family, and his arrival in Utah mid 1890s

Birth name Ole Larsen, Confirmation, census 1834 and 1840 Ole Olsen

Some has assumed that his father is Lars Olsen, but Lars is replaced with Ole.

There is no Lars Olsen related to this family. Surname is from his mothers father (Larsen)

because the parents was not married at his birth. Later he used his fathers name Olsen until 1853, where he again used Larsen. And why is it so:

    If you start with Ole Larsen 2 May 1827 – 1 March 1910 - KWJX-W5F

you will see a lot wrong information, wrong family relations, and a lot of wrong conclusions.
