Translation Assitance- One line
Hello! I am translating a death certificate, and there is one line that is giving me trouble. It is the burial of Heinrich Heiner in Sankt Bernhard, Thüringen. Here is the link : https://www.archion.de/p/0249fc5408/
The part I am having trouble with is "Todtenscheins in Folge von Flüssen". That is what it looks like to me.

The full sentence is:
… starb lt. Todtenscheins in Folge von Flüssen …
meaning: died from secretion/influenza/stroke according to the death certificate
The translation of Flüssen is difficult for these old records; the word had multiple meanings and was not a precise diagnosis in modern terms.

@Ulrich Neitzel Would "lt." be an abbreviation of "laut"?
Also, thank you for sharing your amazing expertise. I really appreciate all of your help!

Yes, "lt." is the common abbreviation of "laut" in the sense of "according to", mostly used in official documents.
