How to remove a person in the tree not from the group.
I realized I had been following the wrong person for 10 years… yikes… So how do I delete them from my family group tree? I removed the person from her parents but that didn't solve the problem. She is just now by herself on the tree. Are her parents floating around in my family group tree somewhere? Is there a list to see what names we have on both trees?
If I delete her on my family group tree will she be deleted in the main family tree database?
I tried to add her second husband on the regular family database but when I copied the individual MRIN number it said I couldn't add him. Does everything I do, add or change on Family Group Tree get duplicated in Family Tree as well?

You'll have to delete the person from your group tree. This will not affect the person on your main tree. If you want to delete from both trees, you can do that also. Just make sure you're on the right tree you want to delete them from.

This is only true if this is a LIVING profile in your Family Group Tree.
If the person you are working on is a deceased person, when you delete her while in your Family Group Tree, she will be deleted from the FamilySearch Tree as well.
