Assenheim, Hessen - baptism in 1837 - Kopp family - transcription/translation
The baptism record (year 1837) is for Johanna Elisabeth, daughter of Andreas Dietz & Margaretha who was born illegitimate to Margaretha Kopp. After the birth of Johanna Elisabeth, I know the couple had another illegitimate child 3 years later, before they got married in 1845 in Assenheim, Hessen. I need help with the missing words in my transcription and any corrections. Also, the translation would be very helpful to me. The image of the record is attached to the person page in "sources":

There is another small note under the number 22. If the info seems to not be helpful, then I don't need this transcribed.

Hello Debra, you did excellent with this transcription. Here are a few spelling corrections and the last lines of the record:

Oh, the other note states that the child was legitimized through her parents later marriage. I appreciate having this information. This baptism record is for the first of seven children born to Andreas Dietz and his wife Margaretha Kopp. I am interested in researching the witness's father Kaspar Jochim, because Margaretha's mother Margaretha Kopp was married to a "Kasper Jochim" (according to her death record in 1864). I don't know if that Kaspar is the same person as the Kasper in this record.
Once again, Ulrich, thanks so much for your help!
