Why can't I see all of my great-grandparents at once?
What happened? The last time I looked over my family tree (portrait mode) I could expand, or view, all my ancestors in each generation. I discovered some inter-family marriages that way. Now I can only see one set of great-grandparents (or 2nd great-grandparents, etc.) at a time. If I am viewing the parents of one set of grandparents they go away when I view the parents of my other grandparents. I'm not happy about this change.

I am having this same issue with my family tree. The Portrait mode of the family tree seems to have reverted back to the old Portrait mode tree view. I can’t seem to change to the new Portrait mode. This seems to have happened over the past few days (started on August 6, 2024).

I suspect that some updates were being worked on. As @Liz8925 stated, I went into my new Portrait Tree View and was able to see and expand all of my grand and great-grandparents.

Ok All views are there
1st start with your Person View
You will see all your ancestral trees
[ I have 4 in one view, I can move up or go to further trees ]
For a total of 20 generations of ancestors in my tree
There is a < > button to view your Paternal / Maternal Trees
To view siblings
Also the up and down arrows

The new version opened up for me tonight. I foolishly clicked on Go Back out of curiosity and now I'm stuck on the old version again. I signed out and back in and that did nothing.
(edit) I was still logged in on this discussion group. I signed out and closed my browser. When I reopened it and logged in I had the option to "Try It" (the new view) so it's working for me again.0 -
Thank you for the update. It now appears that everything is functioning as it should.
