finding relatives in galway
Greats grandfathers are know to come from Galway in the early 1800's, but I am stumped as to which parish they might have come from. Records I have only refer to Galway
(marriage and baptism records of children and grandchildre who came to Quebec in 1830's. Any suggestions of where to look?

Have you used FindMyPast's free database of Galway Roman Catholic registers? There are other options, but Ancestry has a paywall and the National Library of Ireland is not indexed to be searchable by name. FindMyPast is free to search and view/download.
