Translation of German Baptismal Record
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPN5-HJT2
I am looking for help in translating a baptismal record that I found on FamilySearch. When you click on the image, go to page 170; line 44.
Surname - Eimers (Parents Names - Jan Focken Eimers and Taletta Klint)
Record - Baptism
What I would like to know:
- Translation of the document; baptism for a male child 1833
- Translation of column headings (there are six columns to the right of the written information). I just can't figure out what they are.
- The information indexed did not list a first name for the child. I have done a lot of research on Archion.de (Schleswig-Holstein region) and know that often if a child died at birth, they did not name the child. Is there anything in this document that indicated whether the child may have died? Sometimes I have seen a cross symbol on documents that indicate the child died.
Thank you so much for any help.

Number:
44.
Born and Baptized in the year 1833:
On the eighteenth of October at 3 O'clock in the morning, a son was born to the Master Joiner, Jan Focken Eimers, a resident of Kamp, and his wife Taletta Klint, who on the second day after birth died unbaptized.
(There is no name given for the boy.)
The six columns on the right are: boy / legitimate / illegitimate / girl / legitimate / illegitimate. They are used to tabulate the births for the year so he is the 28th boy and 26th legitimate boy of 1833.
Note: I'm not sure the best translation of "auf den Kamp wohnhaft". I translated it as "resident of Kamp". It might also be translated as resident at the Kamp or resident on the Kamp. The closest place that I could find with a similar name is
and is not very close. It might be that he lived on Kampstrasse, a street in Leer.0 -
Thank you so much for your help. I thought that since there was no first name given, that the baby died. I was hoping to find an ancestral link, but not this one. Thank you again. This was a big help.
