That looks a bit confusing - I have a guess - but the Familienregister page on the parents & siblings of Heinrich Salzmann (born 1773) is required to confirm (or contradict) my assumption.

Born and baptised 8. Jenner 1802: Heinrich.
B(ürger) Heinrich Salzmann, der Schuhmacher / A(nna) Catharina Baumann.
B(ürger) Heinrich Salzmann, Schuster, jünger, des Vaters Bruder / Regula Schneebeli, B(ürger) Heinrich Baumanns, des Schmids Frau, von Affoltern.
So my assumption was correct: see the Familienregister for Caspar Salzmann, father of both brothers with the same name (Salzmann Heinrich) just differentiated by "the younger" and "the older".
The mention "Bürger" = citizen shows the French influence (Napoleon) during this time.

Interesting note on Bürger. In my German lines they mention Bürger in every record. Beautiful work!!!!!

I have now summarized what I know about Heinrich Salzmann (1802-?) on Geneal-Forum.
In your blog you mention a daughter: what is her name and where/when was she born? Is she his only child?
Would you have any other information on this family?

They had two girls. The first daughter: 1829 Elisabeth Salzmann birth 3 Oct bap 11 Oct bap, Maschwanden film 008125639 page 69 (see Anna Barbara's page)
Second daughter 10 years later. 1839 Anna Salzmann birth 10 Nov, baptism 24 November, Maschwanden film 008125639 page 77 (see Anna Barbara's page)
Here are Heinrich Salzmann older's two children who married Jentas.
Heinrich Salzmann younger was Heinrich Sr's third child. He was born 8 January 1802, baptized 10 January, Communion - 1819. He married Anna Barbara Jenta (b 1806) 15 December 1828 in St. Peter in Zürich.
Margaretha Salzmann was Heinrich older's fourth child. She was born 27 Sep 1804, baptized 30th, Communion - September 1820. She married Heinrich Jenta (b 1808) on 2nd February 1829 at St.Peters in Zürich.Note: It appears the families went to church together, had communion within a year of each other and married within a year of each other.
I have given a good effort to finding Heinrich Salzmann's death date without success so far. There are quite a few Heinrich Salzmanns in Maschwanden but the length of their lives don't match up. The records are not complete.
I don't know if you have looked at Heinrich Salzmann's marriage announcement in Wetzikon. It is second to the last document on his page:
If you have time can you translate the two girls births? The sponsors look interesting to me. Anna Salzman's birth and Elisabeth Salzmann's birth, fourth documents down:

Thank you - I'll look into this closely later … just a short comment right away:
With https://www.gatheringgardiners.com/search?q=barman I find several mentions of Anna Catherina Barman: her correct name is Baumann.

Fixed, thanks.
I found quite a bit on Elisabeth Salzmann b 1829. She married Rudolf von Tobel. Yes, I know that name makes no sense but I found two references to that name. It is found in her death record and in their son's birth record. His name is Heinrich von Tobel. Both are posted on Anna Barbara Jenta's page.

He survived his wife - so he died after 1875 - and these records are not online.
