I am trying to find a birth and christening record for my ancestor Elsa Jönsdotter (24RF-SNJ). In family search her last name is Hansdotter, but on her son's, Mans birth record it shows that her last name is Jönsdotter. Also on family search there is a birth date for her (26 February 1721) with no sources tagged. I found a possible birth and christening record that has the same date and I am having a hard time reading it and proving that it is Elsa's. Could you please let me know what it says?

    @Taylor, Nathan Collin

    The quality of this record is very poor. What I can confirm is the following:
    The date (probably of the baptism) is February 26, 1721. The name of the child is Elsa. The name of the father is Jöns ___? [can't read the patronym], the name of the mother is Mette? Jansd:?

    So Elsa Jönsdotter seems to be correct.
