The child's name as written is: Walterus = Walter (a male forename).
Note that what looks like a "g" on the end of the name "Walterg" is actually a Latin scribal symbol which represents the letters "us". "Walterus" is a Latin declined form of the male name "Walter".

Translation:
In the year 1699 on the 20th of August an infant born of the honest parents Henrico Aschman and Margaretha Holtzen was baptized and given the name Walter. The godfather was Master Walter Schiller who held him at the sacred [baptismal] font.
My comment: I'm interpreting the abbreviation "D:" before the godfather's name as: Dominus = master, lord, sir.
