1 the night watchman August Grundmann, personally recognized, Protestant religion, born on 18 April 1841 in Skorzewo, county of Schubin, residing in Grünthal, county of Schubin, son of the property owner Michael Grundmann and his wife Marianna nee [Hedke?], both deceased and last residing in Grünthal
2 the [can’t read descriptor] Marianna Bonikowska nee Matuszewska, personally known, Catholic religion, born on 9 September 1847 in Chobilien, county of Schubin, residing in Grünthal, county of Schubin, daughter of the resident Michael Matuszewski and his wife Michalina nee Wilinska, both deceased and last residing in Grünthal

As witnesses were summoned and appeared:
3 the property owner Eduard Kietzmann, personally recognized, 67 years old, residing in Grünthal, county of Schubin
4 the property owner Ernst Kramroÿ, personally recognized, 57 years old, residing in Grünthal, county of Schubin
In the presence of the witnesses the Civil Registrar asked the engaged couple individually and one after the other, the question
whether they declare that they want to be married to each other.
The engaged [couple] answered yes to this question and thereupon the civil registrar declared that by the power of the law they are now legally married husband and wife.
Read, approved, and signed by the fiancee Marianna Bonikowska nee Matuszewska x’ed by her own hand, and signed by the remaining attendees
